Continuing with their sensitization efforts on cleanliness, the Clean Mokokchung Campaign (CMC) distributed waste bins to various educational institutions, church and offices as a part of their campaign to promote awareness to keep surroundings clean. The awareness campaign was sponsored by the LADP (common pool 2021-22), the CMC members informed.
Temsutoshi Longkumer, CMC member, informed that the campaign of distributing waste bins is to help create awareness with regard to stop littering. The campaign alsoaims to educate the masses on keeping one’s surroundings clean.
Christ Church, Jubilee Memorial College, People’s College, Fazl Ali College, District Planning Office, Mokokchung and Govt. School, Yimyu, Satier Sector and DC office complex area are some of the locations where the CMC members have and will be distributing the waste bins.
The CMC’s dustbin distribution campaign will end at Satier Sector under Aliba village where the CMC will be conducting an awareness program on cleanliness with the people of Satier.
