Nagaland University has invited applications for admission to its Four-Year Undergraduate Programme (FYUGP) in Bachelor of Science (BSc) for the 2026-27 academic session through CUET-UG 2026. The admissions, conducted by the University’s Multi-Disciplinary Research Centre (MDRC), are being offered under the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 framework.
The programme offers B.Sc. Honours and Honours with Research in Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, Physics and Zoology. Admissions will be based on CUET-UG 2026 scores and Class XII performance, subject to the eligibility criteria of the respective departments. Online applications are open until July 15 through the university’s admission portal.
Inviting students to apply, Vice Chancellor Prof. Jagadish K. Patnaik said, “I warmly invite students from across India to become a part of Nagaland University, the only Central University in the State of Nagaland.”
He said the FYUGP provides a “multidisciplinary, research-oriented, and student-centric learning environment” and added that admission through CUET-UG 2026 ensures “a transparent, fair, and merit-based process.”
The university will publish the list of shortlisted candidates on July 16. Admissions for selected candidates will be held from July 17 to 20, while admissions from the waiting list are scheduled between July 21 and 23.
Students admitted to the programme will have access to modern laboratories, digital library resources, Wi-Fi-enabled campus facilities, e-learning support, sports infrastructure, career counselling, placement assistance, a cafeteria and a health centre. Reservation of seats will follow Nagaland University norms.
