Four cricketers from Nagaland have been selected for the North East Zone squad for the Duleep Trophy 2026-27, while Nagaland Senior Men’s Team physiotherapist Mowalong Kichu has been appointed as the team physiotherapist.
According to the Nagaland Cricket Association (NCA), Senior Men’s players Jonathan Rongsen, Imliwati Lemtur and Vino G. Zhimomi have been selected to represent the North East Zone in the tournament. Hem Bahadur Chetri has been named as a standby player.

The Duleep Trophy is scheduled from August 23 to September 10 at the BCCI Centre of Excellence in Bengaluru.
As part of preparations for the tournament, the NCA will host the North East Zone pre-tournament preparatory camp from August 8 to 19.
The association described the selections as “a proud moment for cricket in Nagaland”, saying they reflect the players’ commitment, consistent performances and contributions to the growth of the sport in the State.
The NCA congratulated Rongsen, Lemtur, Zhimomi, Chetri and Kichu on their selection and appointment and extended its best wishes to the North East Zone squad for the Duleep Trophy campaign.
