The Chumoukedima District Badminton Association (CDBA) has announced that district-level selection trials will be conducted on August 15 at the Multi-Disciplinary Sports Complex, Sovima, Chumoukedima.
The trials are being held in preparation for the upcoming Li-Ning 48th Inter-District and State Badminton Championship 2026, scheduled to be held from September 1 to 4, 2026, in Mon.
The selection trials will commence at 9:00 a.m. sharp.
All interested badminton players registered under the CDBA have been encouraged to participate.
All players have been advised to report to the venue with their original age proof and ID/Aadhaar card ahead of time to ensure timely completion of registration and warm-up procedures.
The selection trials will be conducted in the following categories:
U-09: Boys’ and Girls’ Singles (no entry restriction)
U-11: Boys’ Singles and Doubles; Girls’ Singles and Doubles
U-13: Boys’ Singles and Doubles; Girls’ Singles and Doubles
U-15: Boys’ Singles and Doubles; Girls’ Singles and Doubles
U-17: Boys’ Singles and Doubles; Girls’ Singles and Doubles
U-19: Boys’ Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles; Girls’ Singles and Doubles
Senior: Men’s Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles; Women’s Singles and Doubles
Veteran: Men’s/Women’s Singles 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+ and 60+; Men’s/Women’s/Mixed Doubles 35+, 40+, 45+, 50+, 55+ and 60+.
