instudia conducted an interactive seminar titled “AI as Co-pilot” at Sacred Heart School, Toulazouma, Dimapur, as part of its regional technology literacy initiative. The session focused on encouraging students to use artificial intelligence as a learning aid rather than relying on it for passive copy-pasting.

Director of instudia Daniel Changkija said, “Artificial intelligence should expand a student’s curiosity, not replace their effort.” He said the initiative aims to help young learners develop digital skills and use AI to think deeper and work smarter.
Resource person Vishal Bardewa led practical sessions on incorporating AI into everyday study habits while maintaining academic integrity. Students were introduced to using AI as a personal tutor to explain complex concepts, as well as using prompt frameworks to brainstorm project ideas, organise study schedules and improve workflows.
The seminar also demonstrated how AI can serve as a debate partner and feedback tool to strengthen writing, logical reasoning and analytical thinking.
“Copy-pasting AI output short-circuits your own learning process,” Bardewa said, emphasising that students should remain in control while using AI to handle repetitive tasks and focus on creativity, critical analysis and understanding.
The programme concluded with a hands-on question-and-answer session where students practised framing effective prompts and discussed responsible technology use. School authorities and faculty members appreciated the initiative for providing students with practical, future-oriented skills.
