Religion is the most sensitive vein of India’s secular fabric.
The ruling party, with audacity is constantly prodding over that sensitive area one too many time (especially of the Christians and Muslims)
As far as Christians are concerned the people in power are using the FCRA (Foreign Contribution Regulation Act) as a Political weapon of choice to crack down on our faith citing proselytization which is but just a flimsy excuse and a blind accusation.
They are pointing their fingers towards the Mennonites churches, but there is no concrete proof that there were forceful or/and appeasement conversion other than the individuals’ own volition.
Secondly, they are trying to shove down Vande Mataram down our throat, without so much of even a backward glance.
But here’s the thing, isn’t this a clear case of HYPOCRITICAL MINDSET AND A DOUBLE STANDARD ATTITUDE???
On one hand they are vociferously crying foul over FCRA but on the other hand, they are making us bite the dust and forcing us to bow down before their Goddesses Durga and Lakshmi in the name of VANDE MATARAM in order to promote their Hindutva/RSS dogma and ideology with the political rule/power of whip in their hands, while the people of other faiths on the receiving ends.
