M.G.M. College, affiliated to Nagaland University, held its 7th Graduation Ceremony at the college auditorium on September 9, marking the graduation of its 2026 batch.

Dr. Kevezai Tureng, Director, College Development Council, Nagaland University, attended as Special Guest and urged graduates to enter the next phase of life with confidence, integrity and responsibility. He encouraged them to turn their education into meaningful careers and contribute positively to society and the nation.
Principal Dr. R.K. Behera said education should extend beyond employment and contribute to character formation, leadership, social responsibility and nation-building. He formally declared the ceremony open following the academic procession, lighting of the lamp, college anthem and invocation.
Siamthianmawi of the Department of English received the C. Khalong Ao and Dr. I. Talitemsula Running Trophy and Cash Award for securing the highest CGPA in the college. The Parents-Teachers Association also presented a cash award to L. Annastacia Dangshawa of the Department of Economics for securing the second-highest CGPA.
The Graduation Oath was administered by IQAC Coordinator Jemsungba Walling, while graduating student Lamleba Sangtam shared reflections on behalf of the batch.
Prof. Tankeswar Gohain, University nominee to the college, and other speakers reminded graduates that graduation marks the beginning of a new chapter of opportunities and responsibilities. The ceremony concluded with the closing speech, benediction and National Anthem.
