The Gluttones will take their “Modern Naga” sound beyond India with performances in Singapore and Bangkok this month.
The band is scheduled to perform at Music Matters Live in Singapore on October 3, one of Asia’s major music showcase festivals. The performance will also feature Naga artists Moko Koza, Shau Evans and Street Stories.
Following the Singapore performance, The Gluttones will travel to Bangkok, Thailand, for a performance at BRSU on October 9.
The international performances come after the band’s “Modern Naga Tour” across Nagaland, during which the group travelled to schools and colleges and performed for students and communities across the state.
The tour sought to connect with young audiences while showcasing contemporary Naga music and creativity. The band said the international performances mark another step in its effort to take the “Modern Naga” sound to wider audiences.
