The Joint Council Forum (JCF), comprising Middle Point, Churches Colony, NST Colony, Nyamo Lotha Colony and Khermahal Area Councils, has urged the Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) to ensure regular garbage collection across its wards.
In a press release, the JCF said collection remained irregular despite residents paying the enhanced Residential Sanitary Fee (RSF), leading to waste accumulation, inconvenience and public health concerns.
The Forum called for timely waste collection, stronger field monitoring and clear communication of collection schedules. Acknowledging the challenges of civic management in a growing city, it expressed willingness to cooperate with the DMC and urged immediate corrective measures to ensure reliable sanitation services.
