The Mokokchung Municipal Council (MMC) has directed all telecommunication service providers, infrastructure providers and other concerned applicants to submit Right of Way (RoW) applications for establishing telecommunication infrastructure within its jurisdiction through the Nagaland State Single-Window Portal.
In a notification dated October 22, MMC said the directive was issued in accordance with the state government notification dated September 20, 2026, concerning the implementation of the Telecommunications (Right of Way) Rules, 2024, under the Telecommunications Act, 2023.
The directive covers applications for both overground and underground telecommunication infrastructure within the municipal council’s jurisdiction.
According to the notification, the submission, examination, tracking and approval of applications will be carried out in accordance with the prescribed rules and procedures of the competent authority.
Applicants have been directed to use the state portal at www.row.nagaland.gov.in for submitting their applications.
The notification, issued by Atsungba Walling, ADC and Chief Executive Officer of MMC, takes effect within the council’s jurisdiction from the date of issue.
