IDEAL Ministry, Kohima, hosted a “Special Afternoon Tea for a Cause” at BMS Multipurpose Hall, Perizie Colony, on Friday to raise contributions for IDEAL Cancer Care Services.
The initiative aimed to support cancer patients and their families, particularly those facing financial difficulties and other hardships.
Abi Angami, founder and director of IDEAL Ministry, introduced the initiative and shared the vision behind IDEAL Cancer Care Services, highlighting the need to support families navigating the challenges of cancer.
Praveen Paul delivered a special address, highlighting the experiences of cancer survivors and the importance of resilience, hope and community support. Akhonuo also presented a special song during the programme.
The gathering brought participants together over tea and refreshments, providing an opportunity to connect and contribute to the cause.
IDEAL Ministry expressed gratitude to all attendees and contributors, stating that the proceeds would go directly towards supporting a cancer patient during a challenging time.
