Mokokchung, June 27 (MTNews): Soyim Students’ Union organized a seminar on career guidance, skill development and entrepreneurship in collaboration with the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India at Babu Tzübo Amphitheatre, Ungma, on June 27.
Dhritishree Bordalai, MGNF, Mokokchung District, MSDE, Govt. of India and Sentilong Ozukum, SDO (Civil), Mokokchung were the resource persons at the seminar. In the first session on Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Dhritishree Bordalai spoke on “Skill Training avenues in Nagaland” and in the second session on Career Guidance, resource person Sentilong Ozukum spoke on “Education and Career in a world of Artificial Intelligence.”
Around 250 Suyim students from Class 8 to post graduate participated in the seminar. According to Moatemsu, President, SSU, the seminar was organized with an aim to guide the students in choosing their future paths and to also equip them with know-how on what careers one can choose by using their skills. He also thanked the two resource persons and the Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, Government of India for helping the young minds in finding their career paths.
The seminar was moderated by Tiarenla, Asst. Culture Secretary, SSU. Moatemsu, president, SSU delivered the welcome address while Longshi, Education Secretary, SSU pronounced the vote of thanks.
