Mokokchung, July 17 (MTNews): Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Mokokchung celebrated the ICAR Foundation Day and interaction of Hon’ble Agriculture Minister with DFI (Doubling Farmers’ Income) farmers on 16th July 2022 at the KVK Conference hall. Selected DFI farmers from Yisemyong, Yimchalu and Kupza villages were invited to attend the program, an update from KVK Mokokchung said.
Importance of ICAR Foundation Day was highlighted by senior scientist and head Dr Keviletsu Khate followed by interaction with the participants. “In this regard, the farmers are encouraged to avail benefits from KVK and agri-allied departments for overall development of the agriculture sector in the state,” the update said. Vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Martha Chakruno ACTO (Plant protection). On this occasion, farmers were distributed farming tools. Altogether 50 farmers along with KVK Staffs attended the program.
