Impur, 11 June (MTNews): The ‘Lead Like Jesus’ program, for ABAM Zone 8 and 9, was successfully held in Impur from 9 to 11 June. A total of 82 professional youths from 10 churches participated in the program.
“In a context of great expectation from the youth for a change in all aspects of our society, much burdens are placed upon the shoulders of the Professional Youths, and at the same time having cognizance of the vital role plays by the professional Youths in the churches, this year, this leadership program was designated for them, so that in return they will contribute significantly towards identical furtherance of the gospel in the local churches by taking the servant leadership,” Rev Dr Mar Pongener, Executive Secretary, ABAM said in a statement.
This program marked the final phase of the ‘Lead Like Jesus’ program in the ABAM YM calendar. ABAM expressed its gratitude to all the professional youths who attended the program and expected their valuable contributions in fostering positive transformations throughout society.
The facilitators for this phase were Mr Imnatoshi, Associate Pastor of DABA, Mr Toshi Sanglir, Secretary of ABAM YM, and Mr Teka Imchen, Coordinator of ABAM YM.
“May God continue to strengthen the ABAM Youth Ministry, as well as all the Youth Ministries under ABAM’s guidance, to make a positive difference in our society,” Pongener said.
