Mokokchung, 16 February (MTNews): ABAM Church & Mission Ministry organized a special program for the Pastors and their spouses from 14 to 16 February 2024 at Impur. A total of 153 Pastors and spouses from 68 Churches and 3 Fellowships attended the program.
“In a situation where the harvest is plenteous and the call for laborers is paramount, working together as a family could contribute significantly to the call. And to respond to the call, it felt that it should start with the Pastor’s family for which this program was organized,” a press statement by Rev Dr Mar Pongener, Executive Secretary, ABAM said.
Speakers in the program were: Rev Dr Mar Pongener, Executive Secretary, ABAM; Dr Jesse Snodgrass, US (Mumbai); Mr Lipokwati Lemtur, Mumbai; Rev L Yapang Mollier, Secretary, Church & Mission, ABAM; and Rev Dr Wati Aier.
The topics were: God Chosen Family in the Bible, The identity of spouses in God’s Servants’ family, Family in the Mission, and Servants of God are the center stage.
“May God help and strengthen all the Servants of God and families to work without attrition and accomplish what God has left for us to do,” the Executive Secretary said in his statement.
