Mokokchung, July 21 (MTNews): Vocal and Conducting Training organized by the Music Ministry under the Church & Mission, ABAM, which started in February 2022 comprised of four phases, has effectively completed. The latest phase was held at Unity Baptist Church on July 18 & 19, 2022 for Zones 8 & 9. Altogether, 34 delegates from 19 churches attended the training, an update from ABAM Impur said.
Rev. Dr. Mar Pongener, Executive Secretary, ABAM said that music has become one of the core sources of evangelism in Christian ministry and that uniformity in the singing during the worship hour is significantly effective. “Understanding the importance of music in the church for spiritual enlightenment, the vocal and conducting training has been conducted under the initiative of Mrs. Asenla Longchar, Coordinator, Music, ABAM,” he said.
“May God help all the churches to have more concern for the music and go forward with more praises to God,” he added.
