The Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM) Youth Ministry organized the ‘Lead Like Jesus’ (LLJ) Encounter for ABAM staff from April 1 to 2, 2025, in Impur. A total of 24 ABAM staff members participated in the leadership-focused program.

According to an update received, the encounter emphasized the significance of servant leadership in resisting worldly influences and maintaining the integrity of believers.

“In a world driven by constant human creativity and a pull towards worldly desires, leaders in any capacity have a crucial role in resisting these influences and protecting the integrity of the believers. By recognizing that leadership is a form of influence, it becomes clear that only servant leadership can provide valuable insights into positively impacting others. With this understanding of leadership in mind, this encounter has been organized for the ABAM staff as it encourages them to embrace the role of ‘Servant Leader,’” the update stated.

The program served as a time of reflection and revitalization, helping participants refine their leadership style while reinforcing their vision and values on both personal and professional levels.

The facilitators for the program included Shilula Imchen, Pastor (Women) of Mokokchung Town Ao Baptist Arogo (MTBA); Toshi Sanglir, Secretary of ABAM Youth Ministry; and Teka Imchen, Coordinator of ABAM Youth Ministry.

“As ABAM YM moves forward with this initiative, may God guide them to achieve remarkable things for His glory,” stated an update from Rev L Yapang Mollier, Officiating Executive Secretary, ABAM.
