The ADC & RO of Tuli Town Council, Mokokchung, issued a circular notifying residents about the valid documents required for electoral identification, as directed by the State Election Commission, Nagaland.
According to the circular, all registered voters under Tuli Town Council must present one of the following documents to cast their vote on polling day: Indian Passport; Driving License; Aadhar Card; Service Identity Card issued by the State/Central Government, Public Sector Undertakings, or Public Limited Companies; Bank/Post Office Passbook with photograph; PAN Card; Pension Document with photograph; Indigenous Inhabitant Certificate issued by the Deputy Commissioner/Additional Deputy Commissioner.
The Returning Officer also emphasized that Voter’s Information Slips (VIS) will not be accepted as proof of identity for voting purposes.
