Advanced Dental Aesthetic and Implant Clinic in Kohima completes 10 years of specialised care
Speaking at the event, Dr. Pfukrulo Koza, Consultant Visiting Specialist, reflected on the clinic’s journey. He said the clinic started in 2015, recognising the need to provide quality dental care to patients. “Advanced Dental Aesthetic and Implant Clinic was started to provide a platform for specialist doctors to give their specialty treatments with the necessary facilities and equipment,” he added.

Dr. Koza shared that the clinic initially had three doctors and two specialists with only two dental chairs. Facilities were upgraded in 2017, and by 2019, more doctors joined, and the clinic expanded to five dental chairs. He credited the growth to the commitment of patients and the team of doctors.

He highlighted that the clinic is now one of the largest and best-equipped dental clinics in Nagaland, offering services such as dental laser surgery, microscopic surgery, advanced dental implant surgery, smile design, and conscious sedation. “The Advanced Dental Aesthetic and Implant Clinic has the highest number of dental implant placements, with approximately 1,100 implants placed, benefitting hundreds of patients,” Dr. Koza stated. He also noted the clinic pioneered procedures such as bone block grafting, ridge split surgery, sinus lift surgery, all-on-four implants, and lip reposition plastic surgery for gummy smiles.

Dr. Koza credited teamwork and reaffirmed the clinic’s commitment to holistic care. He acknowledged God, patients, and the house owner who provided the initial space for the clinic. He also mentioned the Kekhro Smile Foundation (KSF), an initiative by the clinic team to promote oral health and provide charitable care, with plans to start a charitable clinic and expand the team.
Dr. Imyangluba, Pediatric Dentist, shared plans for a new satellite branch at Tinpati Junction, Kohima, with three dental chairs by the end of this year. He added that the expansion aims to serve patients from Meriema, High School, and surrounding areas.

The anniversary event was chaired by Dr. Vetsole H. Koza, Managing Director, with a welcome address delivered by him and a vote of thanks by Dr. Dzutholu Thingo, General Dentistry and Oral Implantologist. The programme began with a prayer by Keviechupe Pfuno, Deacon, CBCMHK, and concluded with a prayer by Vilhou Koza.
