Dimapur, 16 August (MTNews): Advisor for CAWD & Taxes, Kudecho Khamo, today inspected the alternative site of the DC Office at the Survey Training Institute (STI), Purana Bazar, Dimapur. Advisor Khamo stated that a new DC office complex will be constructed with state-of-the-art facilities. As part of this, an alternative office for the DC will soon function at the Survey Training Institute (STI), Purana Bazar.

Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) of Dimapur, Mhalo Humtsoe, mentioned that the proposed alternative site at STI, Purana Bazar, under the Department of Land Records and Survey, was approved during the District Planning & Development Board meeting.

 

With ongoing renovations at the alternative site to make it suitable for setting up the DC office, she expressed hope that the transition could occur at an early date. Er Sungtiba Amer, Executive Engineer (CAWD), mentioned that the new DC office complex was sanctioned for reconstruction at the existing site. The complex will house around eight departments with a state-of-the-art building and more than 150 parking spaces.

 

Additionally, the Advisor, along with CAWD officials, inspected various General Administration (GA) projects in Chumokedima and Dimapur districts. He visited the ADC office in Medziphema, EAC Seithekema, the new DC office in Chümoukedima, and the DC office in Dimapur.

 

This marks the third phase of his visit to Nagaland since assuming the role of Advisor for CAWD. As part of this tour, Advisor Khamo is systematically visiting all the districts to inspect various works under general administration and to better understand the challenges faced by the administration in the state.
