Aizawl FC on Thursday left Aizawl for a 10-day tour of Nagaland as part of its “Football for Peace & Development Initiatives,” sponsored by the North Eastern Council, Shillong, in coordination with the Government of Nagaland, Mon District Administration, the Nagaland Football Association (NFA), and Nagaland United SC.

During the visit, Aizawl FC will play exhibition matches at Mon Town on 2 June and at Chumukedima/Dimapur on 6 June. The matches are expected to be graced by the Chief Minister and other VVIPs.
The club said the fixtures are being dedicated in honour of Late William Koso, Assistant Coach of Aizawl FC.
Aizawl FC paid tribute, stating: “Your dedication, passion and invaluable contribution to Aizawl FC will always be remembered and cherished. You will forever remain in our hearts.”
