Urges Health & Family Welfare to revoke special recruitment drive

The Ao Kaketshir Mungdang (AKM) on Saturday appealed to the Department of Health & Family Welfare to revoke the Special Recruitment Drive for 280 posts and to immediately requisition the 329 posts to the NPSC/NSSB.

In a letter addressed to the Principal Director of the Department of Health & Family Welfare, the AKM reiterated its support for the Combined Technical Association of Nagaland (CTAN) in demanding the cancellation of the Special Recruitment Drive (H&FW Department) and the immediate requisition of 329 posts to the NPSC/NSSB.

“The AKM strongly affirms the established norms for recruitment through the NPSC and CTSE for the vacant posts and advocates for free and fair competition for all qualified aspirants. Therefore, the AKM seeks a sensible analysis of the demands put forward by the CTAN,” the AKM stated in its letter to the Principal Director.

The AKM also stated that it firmly stands in solidarity with the NMSA and urged the State Government to maintain the status quo and recruit the vacant posts through the NPSC-CTSE, ensuring equal opportunity for all eligible candidates while upholding a free, fair, and transparent recruitment process.

The AKM said it believes that open recruitment based on the established rules and norms by the department will be a more just solution and one that would be to the satisfaction and benefit of all aspirants.
