The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has expressed profound grief over the passing of Dr Kiremwati, the first Naga M Sc (Geology), the first Director of Higher and Technical Education, Nagaland, and the first Naga Pro-Vice Chancellor of North Eastern Hill University (NEHU), describing his demise as a great loss to the academic and Naga community.

In a condolence message, AKM remembered Dr Kiremwati as a distinguished educationist and administrator who dedicated his life to the service of the Naga people.

“His tireless contributions to the fields of education and community service have left an indelible mark on the State. With deep pain, we feel that we have lost our noble guide and a strong pillar of our society,” AKM stated in a statement.

AKM conveyed heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and prayed that they find strength and comfort during this period of mourning. The conference also prayed for eternal peace for the departed soul.
