Mokokchung, 26 April (MTNews): The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM) has informed all the non-locals residing in Mokokchung who are yet to renew or register their ‘AKM Census Card’ that the last phase of registration starts from 8 May at AKM Conference Hall, from 9:00 AM- 4:00 PM, which will go on till 13 May.
AKM cautioned that failing to register or renew within the specified date and time will be subjected to consequences. AKM further appealed to all the concerned Ward Chairmen and Village Councils to ensure that all the non-locals within their respective jurisdiction are registered.
“The infiltration of illegal immigrants is a threat to the indigenous inhabitants and has to be fought with joined hands,” AKM stated while soliciting continued cooperation from the administration and support from all the citizens of Mokokchung.
Documents required for the renewal or registration listed by AKM includes ILP, AKM Census Card, Guarantor, NOC from Ward/Village Council Chairman with detailed house owner name, house number, name of tenant and ward/sector seal and sign of competent authority.
