Mokokchung, 22 September (MTNews): The Ao Students’ Conference (AKM), in a letter addressed to the Territorial Manager of Airtel in Mokokchung, has expressed its growing concern over the ‘consistently poor’ state of Airtel Telecom Services in Mokokchung District.

The apex students’ body in the district has expressed concern over the consistently poor quality of service, including daily network fluctuations and widespread connectivity problems that have significantly affected the local community.

AKM emphasized the critical importance of reliable internet services in an era where students, professionals, and the general public rely heavily on internet connectivity for various purposes, including education, office communications, and transactions. The AKM also spelled a one-week ultimatum to the Territorial Manager to address these issues adequately.

“Therefore, in the interest of all concerned, the Ao Students Conference (AKM) strongly urges the Airtel Telecom Services providers in Mokokchung to genuinely improve the internet and connectivity services within one week. Otherwise, we will be compelled to initiate our own course of action as we see fit,” AKM wrote.

AKM expressed hope that the telecom company would consider the concerns raised in their letter and take prompt action to resolve the ongoing service problems.

As the apex students’ body in the district, AKM said it addresses various issues for the welfare of the local community, with a particular focus on addressing issues affecting students.
