Mokokchung, 5 May (MTNews): The newly elected office bearers of the Ao Kaketshir Telongjem Guwahati (AKTG) including its President Noklensangyu Pongen, General Secretary Sutisula Tzuwar, Executive member Imsutongpang Jamir, Asst. Finance Secretary Watilong Jamir and Dr Lipok Jamir, Advisor met the DGP of Assam, Gyanendra Pratap Singh, IPS on 26 April last.
“Further discussed to uplift the bonding between the Ao Kaketshir Telongjem Guwahati and the DGP of Assam,” an update from AKTG said. “The DGP also assured to render his help upon the union under any official instance,” it added.
AKTG was established on 13 January 1946 for the welfare of the Ao Naga students within the Guwahati (Assam) jurisdictions.
