The Alempang Ward Yimden has in a statement issued on Thursday informed that a resident of the ward, Rongpangwatila of Nokpu village, who has been accused of child abuse, was summoned and punished with a fine of one pig for her offense.
The Alempang Ward Yimden further informed that, in the event of the accused tarnishing the image of the ward again by committing similar offense in the future, she shall be severely dealt with and expelled from the ward.
