A meeting of all Village Councils under Chumoukedima District has been convened by the Forum for Village Councils, Chumoukedima RD Block. The gathering is scheduled to take place on June 25, 2025, at 11:00 AM at the Chumoukedima Village Council Hall.
According to a press release issued by the Sessional Convenor, Sebastian Zumvu, the meeting will deliberate on “important issues such as Implementation of Inner Line Permit, Rules for Administration of Justice & Police in Nagaland (Fifth Amendment) Rules, 2025, and other matters pertaining to the welfare of the villages.”
The organisers have informed that “subject-matter experts have been invited to interact with the delegates”, signaling that the discussions will involve in-depth dialogue and technical insight on the highlighted topics.
The meeting is expected to bring together key grassroots leaders, with the release requesting “all Village Council Chairmen, Head GBs, GBs, Village Youth Organization Presidents and Chairpersons of the Village Women Organizations of Chumoukedima District to attend the meeting positively.”
