Firefighters from across the country gathered at Thyagraj Stadium from 22nd – 24th September 2022, not to douse any fire, but to compete in the first ever All India Fire Service Sports and Fire Service Meet.
During the sporting event, Nagaland Fire & Emergency Services also represented and secured the Gold medal in the Table Tennis Men’s Doubles open, Silver medal in the 1500 m Men’s open and bronze medals in the TT Men’s Singles Open, 5000 m Men’s Open, Extension Ladder Drill.
