Mokokchung, November 26 (MTNews): As the demand for Frontier Nagaland continues to grow more intense with the seven tribal unions of eastern Nagaland boycotting the much-lauded Hornbill festival, the Eastern Nagaland Legislators’ Union (ENLU) arranged a closed-door meeting today at the Nagaland Police Complex in Chümoukedima between the Chief Minister and the frontal organizations of the eastern Nagaland bloc. The outcome of the meeting could not be ascertained till the filing of this news.

Meanwhile, sources close to the government have told Northeast Live that Union Home Minister Amit Shah has invited the ENPO to a meeting on December 3 evening. It was still unclear where the meeting would be held.
According to the same source, Nagaland Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Deputy Chief Minister Y Patton and a host of other ministers from the Government of Nagaland will also attend the meeting.

It can be recalled that as part of the ENPO’s movement for a separate state demand, the ENPO passed a resolution on October 16 to boycott the annual state Hornbill Festival. It had previously in August resolved to boycott both Parliamentary and state Assembly elections.
