ANCSU reiterates demands to Dept of Higher Education; Cautions of ‘Intensified Digital Protest’

Kohima, October 26 (MTNews): The All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) has through a press release reminded the State Government and the Department of Higher Education (DHE) of its October 3 representation with a time frame of 30 days.

 

The Union reiterated its given time frame in regard to the issues of construction of boundary fence and re-allocation of land at Kohima Science College (Autonomous) Jotsoma; setting up scholarship Nodal Cell; and addressing shortage of teachers under the Higher Education as well as contractual teachers and salary.

 

ANCSU warned in the press release that if the concerned department fail to address the issues within the stipulated time, ie. November 3, “the union will hold all officers under the Department of Higher Education and those concerned departments implementing scholarship schemes accountable for any eventuality.”

 

Despite regular representation to the department and even after ascertaining the genuineness of these issues, the department is yet to deliver any concrete solution to the issues, for which the aforementioned representation was submitted to
