Mokokchung, September 16(MTNews): The All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU), Mokokchung Unit, celebrated its silver Jubilee cum 29th State Level Hindi Divas 2022 on 16 September, 2022 at Aongza Ki, Mokokchung.

Short speeches were delivered by SDO (Civil) Mokokchung, Sentilong Ozukum; Col. Vipul, Commandant 23 Assam Rifle, Mokokchung Battalion; Sentinenla, District Education Officer (DEO), Mokokchung and Runchulo Tep, President, All Nagaland Hindi Teachers Union.
Sentilong Ozukum, in his speech, stated that language is always associated with culture and that our perception of reality depends on the language we speak. He urged everyone to learn, unlearn and re-learn.
The DEO, Sentinenla, appreciated the work and effort of the Hindi teachers and congratulated the ANHTU on its silver jubilee celebration.
Other highlights of the program included Senayangba Higher Secondary School presenting the song ‘Vande Mataram’ while students from Sumi School performed a dance. A minute of silence was also observed for the departed Hindi teachers.
The jubilee souvenir was released by the DEO, Mokokchung. Students from different schools and members from various NGOs including the Ao Senden, Watsu Mungdang and Aongza ward council attended the celebration.

Imna Along Longkumer, Minister, Higher Education and Tribal Affairs, also conveyed his congratulations to the ANHTU, Mokokchung Unit.
