The Nagaland State Disaster Management Authority (NSDMA), Home Department, will be organizing the annual Nagaland Emergency Preparedness Exercise (NEPEx) to test the state’s capability to respond to disaster events. The 7th edition of NEPEx 2024 will take place on 24 October 2024, simulating an earthquake scenario.
As a precursor to the NEPEx, an Orientation and Coordination Meeting/Conference will be held on October 9 organized by the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in collaboration with NSDMA. This meeting will include the Advisor of NSDMA, the Home Department, and all the District Disaster Management Authorities (DDMAs) in a virtual mode. The link to attend the program will be sent in due course before the commencement of the session.
The Assistant Heads of Departments (AHoD)/Heads of Departments (HoDs) are kindly requested to attend the virtual conference along with the nodal officers from their respective departments/directorates. Additionally, the DDMAs have been asked to attend the conference with their DDMA members.
