Wokha, 28 October (MTNews): The All Nagaland Private School’s Association (ANPSA) Wokha Unit organized its first Inter School Futsal Championship from 26 -28 October 2023 at Legacy Futsal Arena, Etsütchükha.
In an exciting final, the young lass from Don Bosco Higher Secondary School (DBHSS) were crowned champion when they prevailed over spirited Christian Model High School (CMHS) by 2 goals to 1. In a one-sided boys’ final, high flying Springdale School thrashed Rtegimental School DEF Wokha 6-1 to claim the champions’ title.
All cash awards and Running Trophies were sponsored by Miss R Mhonroni Murry, Proprietor and Headmistress, Perennial School Wokha. The closing program was concluded with a prayer of blessing by Mr Mhonyamo Lotha, Chaplain, Fernbrook School, Wokha.
Meanwhile, the Association, through its General Secretary Miss Rinton Lohe has informed all member schools that the annual Head of Institution picnic cum Annual General Body Meeting (AGBM) will be held on 30 October 2023 at Chukidong Area Baptist Mission School, Wokha. In this regard, all member schools will remain closed on Monday the 30th October 2023.
