The All-Nagaland School Teachers’ Association (ANSTA) held its coordination meeting on 16 July 2025 at the Morung Conference Hall, Directorate of School Education, Kohima.
The meeting was attended by representatives of various teachers’ units from across the state.
During the meeting, members discussed strategies to foster a conducive environment for positive change and to further elevate the standards of education.
Representatives of the All Nagaland Ad-hoc Teachers’ Group (ANATG), All Nagaland Government Primary Teachers’ Association (ANGPTA), All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union (ANHTU), All Nagaland Hindi Teachers’ Union CSS (ANHTU-CSS), Nagaland RMSA Teachers’ Association 2016 (NRMSATA 2016), All Nagaland Education (T-PIMS) Employees’ Group, RMSA 111 Graduate Teachers 2016, SSA 2013 Backlog (Maths & Science), All Nagaland Drawing Teachers’ Group, All Nagaland Graduate Teachers’ Forum (ANGTF), and Vishesh Gyaan Hindi Teachers spoke at the meeting and presented their respective reports.
ANSTA took note of the challenges and difficulties faced by members of various teacher groups and assured that efforts would be made to address them. The association appreciated all participating groups for their commitment and encouraged continued collaboration with a shared mission to achieve the common goal of quality education across the state.
Kasheto Sumi, president of the association, delivered the presidential address, while general secretary Pekinto Y Jimo delivered the keynote address. Treasurer Chubatemjen also spoke at the meeting, which was chaired by Kezhalezo Solo, vice president of ANSTA. The meeting concluded with a discussion hour.
