Mokokchung, October 13 (MTNews): The idea on centralization scheme proposed by the All Nagaland Taxi Association (ANTA) has been strongly opposed by the Wokha District Regional Taxi owners, drivers and Tiyi Transport agency (counter), Nzanchi counter Wokha (Kyong Travels, A.B Travels, Nzan counter Dimapur to Wokha), a press release received here said.
“We opposed the idea since it is a malicious and tactical practice of the ANTA and its unit to seize control over all government registered ticketing and booking agencies under their supremacy,” the aggrieved party stated.
According to the aggrieved party, they have served over a decade for the welfare and the commuters of Wokha district that they, “suppress some individualistic idea to take control over registered ticket counters.”
The concerned party also stated that they will continue to function under the Government registration and authorization with or without the ANTA and its units for the welfare and interest of the public. This, according to them, was as per the resolution and meeting held on 9th Oct. 2022 at Pangti Baptist Ekhumko Building.
