The Ao Senden, along with the Ao Baptist Arogo Mungdang (ABAM), Ao Legislators, Ao Kaketshir Mungdang, Watsu Mungdang, Ao Lanur Telungjem, and Ao Officers Telungjem, organized a felicitation programme in honour of Nagaland Chief Secretary Sentiyanger Imchen, IAS, at his official residence in Kohima on November 5, 2025.

Speaking at the programme, Sentiyanger Imchen expressed gratitude to the Ao Senden for the honour and reaffirmed his commitment to work for the welfare and progress of the people of Nagaland. He stated that unity is the foundation of progress and development and urged the gathering to work collectively towards addressing the challenges faced by society.
Imchen stressed the importance of focusing on one’s goals and working hard to achieve them, which in turn strengthens the community. He further reminded everyone to remain thankful for their blessings and to continue seeking wisdom in all endeavours.
Minister for Rural Development Metsubo Jamir, in his address, called upon the gathering to “walk the talk” and emphasized that real change comes through action and collective commitment. He urged the Ao community to uphold unity and integrity for the betterment of society and the State.
Other speakers at the programme included the President of the Ao Kaketshir Mungdang (AKM), the President of the Ao Lanur Telungjem (ALT), and the Legal Advisor of Ao Senden, CT Jamir.
A special prayer of blessing was offered by Rev. Temsu Jamir, Executive Secretary of ABAM, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Ao Senden President Marsanen Imsong.
