Mokokchung, October 5 (MTNews): Aoli Pongen Mungdang (APM) held its third Academic Excellence Award (2018-2022) at the residence of K. Rongsenwati Pongen, Treasurer, APM in Aongza ward, Mokokchung.
The award is given to Top 20 rank holders at the Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) HSLC (class 10) exam.
The awards were presented to NBSE HSLC Exam toppers: Etiyala Pongen, Top 20 (2019); Yangerjungla Pongener, Top 10 (2018); Imlitula Pongener, Top 8 (2021) all of them hailing from Changki Village.
The vice principal of Jubilee Memorial School (JMS), Wapangnaro, delivered a brief exhortation during the award ceremony. She said that since the world is now extremely competitive, no one should be complacent and should instead put forth extra effort while continuing to learn and develop until they achieve their goals.
She encouraged the achievers by telling them that this was just the beginning and that they should continue to set and work toward higher goals. She added that such recognition inspires students to put in more effort.
Earlier, President of Aoli Pongen Mungdang, Sakuwati Pongen delivered a short exhortation and K. Imtituba, Co- convenor, Education Trust Board, presided over the program.
