To voice opposition against the Indo-Myanmar Border Fencing and related issues, the Angami Public Organisation (APO), along with all tribal units based in Kohima, will organize a public rally on April 9, 2025 (Wednesday).
The rally will begin at 10:00 AM from the Old MLA Hostel Junction in Kohima. The APO has called upon all its Frontal Organisation office bearers to disseminate information to their respective members across different circles and neighborhoods. Participation in the rally has been strongly encouraged, with the APO urging members to attend without fail.
As a mark of identity and solidarity, participants have been requested to wear at least one piece of typical Angami traditional attire, such as a shawl, mekhela, sash, waistcoat, or necklace.
