The Rising Youth (youth wing of Rising People’s Party) is thoroughly disgusted that the Work-charge employees of numerous Departments haven’t been paid their hard earned salary for the past one and a half to two years. The UDA government’s selfish attitude towards the employees is horrendous and condemnable.
The Rising Youth on multiple occasions, have been approached by the work-charge employees seeking justice as they are burdened by untold miseries arising out of the emotional, financial and social abuses meted out to them due to the negligence of the UDA government.
As per reports, non-payment of work-charge salaries has affected roughly about 15,000 employees who are solely dependent on this salary for their livelihood. The Rising Youth reminds the UDA government that every citizen irrespective of statushas the right to live a dignity life as guaranteed under the Constitution of India.
The Rising Youth is of the opinion that the present government’s excuse of ‘lack of funds’ is a farce and total lie – that it is just a gimmick to misappropriate and divert funds meant for the people of Nagaland. The Rising Youth finds it hard to even digest the fact that the present government could stoop so low as to commit suchdaylight robbery.
The Rising Youth in support of all the aggrieved work-charge employees appeals the UDA Coalition to release their hard earned salaries immediately without excuse.
