My dear beloved Eastern Naga Brothers & Sisters, as We all know that in a democratic set up every single vote is very precious and whereby “this right is the basic right without which all others are meaningless. It gives people, people as individuals, control over their destinies”. The power of ‘ballot’ is the ultimate voice in a democratic government. And all of us as citizens of this great country must realize that after the results are declared on June 04th 2024, for the ensuing 18th Parliamentary Elections, the next National Government formation (with permutation & combination) shall take place.
Herein lies the great opportunity for the Eastern Nagas. You must take a chance and ‘strategically vote’ in electing your very own Lok Sabha MP from Nagaland who shall extend his letter of support to whichever alliance formation reaches the magic figure of 272 Lok Sabha MPs ( majority mark) in forming a constitutionally mandated Government at the Centre.
Every Eastern Naga must deeply and intelligently realize that NO VOTE – means NO FNT, but if You Vote – You Secure FNT, because without exercising your Constitutional right to vote; I truly FEAR that the next incoming Central Government will brush aside and keep our dream FNT in cold storage/ back burner. But IF YOU VOTE and SHOW THE POWER OF YOUR VOTES, it is understood that the next government will seriously take up the FNT issue to its logical conclusion.
Eastern Nagas be aware that in this current Naga political scenario, the ruling government NDPP led PDA is not sympathetic/positive at all towards the FNT. The same negative attitude goes with the Congress party as documented recently during their formal release of ‘Congress Manifesto/ Nyaya Patra’ in New Delhi on April 05, 2024, where nothing about FNT was spelt out, sadly and very unfortunately not even a single word was mentioned about granting of FNT in the Congress Manifesto. How will Congress grant FNT??? when FNT is totally omitted in their official document!!
It is impossible for NDPP and Congress to streamline in achieving the FNT, after closely analysing both the NDPP and Congress party perspectives on FNT. The NDPP and Congress are not serious at all in granting the much desired ‘Frontier Nagaland Territory’ to the Eastern Nagas even in a century.
The One and Only Lok Sabha candidate in the ensuing 18th Parliamentary Election in Nagaland and who has boldly advocated for granting FNT, publicly supporting it is Me. I have already declared the FNT agenda to be my Topmost Priority & Manifesto no.1.
Based on my past write-ups in favour of FNT and my credentials, I humbly appeal to the Eastern Nagas to let the entire 4 (four) lakh plus votes to cast your votes ‘EN BLOC’ in my favour so that it will be a ‘total electoral game changer’ and the right winning strategy. In return, I as an elected independent Lok Sabha MP shall give my letter of support to the next government or whichever national alliance comes to power with the “condition that the most burning FNT issue which holds so dear to the Eastern Nagas” be fulfilled.
This genuine concern of mine should not be taken as a voting stance but based on the current situation, priority being maintained and to show that the power lies with the people in a democratic country. I humbly request the ENPO and all intellectuals of Eastern Nagaland to analyse and exercise the voting rights of every Eastern Naga individual thereby proposing my candidature as your ‘voice’ in the Parliament.
