Mokokchung, March 13 (MTNews): The State Bank of India, Regional Business Office, Mokokchung has on Monday clarified that the civilian, one Konangimba LemturAMP, who was arrested by the Assam Rifles troops along with 4 cadres of the NSCN-IM for carrying out illegal checking of vehicles and extortion at General Area Sutsu Junction near Mokokchung town, is not an ex-employee of SBI as reported.
“He was employed as a temporary driver by vendors who provide vehicles for official use on contractual basis,” Assistant General Manager, SBI, RBO Mokokchung clarified.
