Kohima, November 17 (MTNews): The Directorate of Art and Culture has informed all Rural Libraries, registered under the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Nagaland, to submit the Annual Progress Report of their Libraries in order to monitor the progress of the Libraries and the services they are rendering to the community.
According to the DIPR report, the performance of the libraries will be assessed as per the Annual Progress Report. Libraries that do not submit their Annual Progress Report will be treated as non-performing and are liable to be delisted, it added.
Therefore, all Rural Libraries registered under the Department of Art and Culture, Government of Nagaland, have been requested to collect the prescribed format, which, according to the report, will be available at the District Cultural Offices in the Districts. They were further asked to submit their Annual Progress Report to the respective District Cultural Officers, on or before February 28, 2023.
