Mokokchung, July 9 (MTNews): The second day of the 12th Youth Conference of Artang Baptist Church Youth Ministry saw a workshop session dedicated to various skills development. The conference is being held from 8th to 10th July with the theme ‘Perfected in him’.
The workshop was held with the aim to educate the youth on five different skills with resource persons from different departments skilling the youths with hands-on training. About 150 youths participated in the workshops. The conference committee organized the workshop with the vision to better equip the youth with skills which will further open up prospects for young business enthusiasts in the future. It was a fun and innovative learning experience, overall a successful event.
The resource persons were:
1. Asangla, Entrepreneur – Baking and Custard Making
2. Ngangshimeyu, Dist Sericulture Officer – Eri culture and its prospects
3. Immonger Pongen, Asstt. Seri Officer – Magu culture & various avenues in sericulture
4. Recha Imchen, Horticulture Inspector – Fungi culture
5. Tekasangla Ozukum (HEA) – Flower grafting
6. Dr. Imchalemla (SDHO) – Pickle / Jam making
