Ashok Leyland, India’s second-largest commercial vehicle manufacturer has identified Nagaland as a strategic market for enhancing its market share and consolidating its position in the commercial vehicle industry in Northeast India. This strategic vision materialized with the inauguration of a new dealership in Seithekema C, Chumoukedima, Nagaland on 16 February 2024.

During the inaugural event, the company also disclosed plans to open new locations in Mokokchung and Kohima, further strengthening its network in Nagaland and the broader Northeast region.

According to bnn.com, the newly launched 3S Dealership is set to offer a comprehensive range of services including sales, service, and spares. It is equipped with facilities that cater to customer convenience and vehicle care, such as a 24×7 breakdown service, lunch for drivers, and handymen assistance for drivers availing services. This move, according to bnn, is in line with Ashok Leyland’s growth strategy, which focuses on customer satisfaction, service excellence, and market expansion.

The company also partnered with Symbios Auto which underscored the importance of local collaborations in achieving these objectives, fostering a symbiotic relationship that benefits the company, its partners, and, most importantly, the customers.

Nagaland Minister G Kaito Aye who spoke during the inaugural function said that the initiative by Ashok Leyland and Symbios Auto will significantly contribute to the state’s development, offering superior service and creating job opportunities for the people. This sentiment was echoed by Prabir Kumar Mandal, Zonal Manager of Ashok Leyland, who underscored Nagaland’s pivotal role in the company’s Northeast strategy. Mandal expressed the company’s commitment to providing the best services and support to customers in Nagaland, reaffirming Ashok Leyland’s dedication to the region’s growth and prosperity.
