In observance of World Blood Donors Day 2025, a collaborative program was held at the 12 Assam Rifles Hospital, Mokokchung, organized by the 12 Assam Rifles in partnership with the Mokokchung District Voluntary Blood Donors Association, Blood Center IMDH, and DAPCU.

Under the theme “Give Blood, Give Hope: Together We Save Lives!”, the event aimed to raise awareness on the importance of voluntary blood donation and to honor the selfless contributions of blood donors in the district.
A total of 19 units of blood were donated during the event, with 17 personnel from the Assam Rifles and 2 civilian donors participating in the drive.

Dr R Toshimenla Jamir, DTO & DPO Blood Safety, Mokokchung, delivered the keynote address, highlighting the importance of voluntary blood donation in saving lives.

As part of the program, 20 voluntary donors were felicitated in recognition of their consistent and selfless contributions to the cause of blood donation.
