Nakachari /Jorhat, July 31 (MTNews): Assam Valley Baptist Mission (AVBM) has celebrated its 17th Foundation Day at its Nakachari HQ today with Rev. O. Yashi Jamir, Pastor, Sungkomen Baptist Church, Mokokchung as speaker.
An update received here informed that the program started with dedication of a Scooty two-wheeleer and bed linen kit box comprising of 8 sets of mattresses, pillows with covers and bed sheets financed and sponsored by Sungkomen Baptist Church by Rev. O. Yashi Pastor.
A silent prayer was observed in honour of late Imsu Jamir, AVBM founder Adviser; late Rev. Lima Jamir, Pastor, Kumlong Baptist Church; late Amos Dimbu, Pastor of Gabharoo Grant Baptist Church and late Temjenmenla, W/o Mr. Akong Longkumer of Tekameri Mission.
Invocation prayer was pronounced by Meyiba, Pastor, Morongial Ao Baptist Church, while welcome speech was delivered by Moon Lawson, AVBM Adviser. Offertory prayer by Panger Jamir, Pastor, Nakachari Ao Baptist Church while a short speech was delivered by Er. Purmayang, Deacon, Sungkomen Baptist Church.
Rev. O. Yashi delivered the message. AVBM evangelist Huni Gogoi presided today’s function while Nimrudh Mandal presented the Mission report. Sanjay Pantati pronounced vote of thanks. The program ended with mass prayer followed by refreshment.
