Mokokchung, July 8 (MTNews): The Community Health Center Changtongya in Mokokchung hosted an assessment camp for senior citizens and people with disabilities (Divyangjan) as part of the Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana and ADIP scheme On July 7, 2022. This was conducted by Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India in collaboration with District Administration and Mokokchung Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India (Alimco).
A total of 96 beneficiaries were evaluated and registered to use the facilities during the assessment camp, where ADIP (Disabled Person) identified 23 people and RVY (Senior Citizen) identified 73 people.
The Mokokchung District Disabled Forum, SDO (C), Rorheu Peseyie, Dr. Imtijungshi SMO, employees from CHC Changtongya, Caritas India CBR, and the ALIMCO team lead by Suman Kumar (Rehab Expert/Prosthetist & Orthotist) were present during the camp.
