Mokokchung, 20 February (MTNews): The District Mission Authority (DMA), Samagra Shiksha (SS), Mokokchung, organized an Assessment Camp for Children with Special Needs (CWSN) on 20 February at the Educational Block Resource Centre (EBRC), Mokokchung Village. A total of 26 students from 8 schools attended the camp.
As part of the camp, all the students were assessed for their level of disability, including nineteen visually impaired children, two orthopedically impaired, and six with hearing/speech impairment.
The assessments were conducted by Dr Temsumeren (Ophthalmic Assistant) from Sapangya Primary Health Centre and Surajit Pain from earKART.
