Deputy Commissioner Ajit Kumar Verma, IAS, has announced that ALIMCO (Artificial Limbs Manufacturing Corporation of India), in collaboration with the District Administration of Mon, will be conducting assessment camps to identify Divyangjan (Persons with Disabilities, PwDs) in need of aids and assistive devices. The camps will be held across various blocks in Mon District according to the following schedule:
· Tizit Block: Tizit PHC, July 24, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Nodal Officer: Dr. Taliwati Ao (9402869005).
· Wakching Block: Wakching CHC, July 25, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Nodal Officer: Dr. Chingyen Konyak (8974139823).
· Aboi Block: Aboi CHC, July 26, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Nodal Officer: Dr. Nungshikokba Imchen (9612316317).
· Chen Block: Chen PHC, July 27, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Nodal Officer: Dr. Nungshikokba Imchen (9612316317).
· Tobu Block: Tobu CHC, July 29, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Nodal Officer: Dr. Pangjong Konyak (6000872997).

Deputy Commissioner Verma requested all Divyangjan/PwDs in the respective blocks, villages, and colonies to attend the camps as per the schedule. Attendees should bring the following documents: Aadhaar Card, One passport-size photo, Income certificate (annual income of Rs. 2,50,000 or below) and UDID Card/Acknowledgement Number with a Medical Disability Certificate indicating 40% disability or above.
